M.Eng (Hons) Marine Technology – University of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, UK
Ratnam is a competent and result orientated professional having more than 25 years of extensive experience in Marine and Offshore industry. Having graduated from University of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne he served as a Naval Architect at various organizations. Thereafter, he embarked a career path of a Marine and Offshore Surveyor at both American Bureau of Shipping and Det Norske Veritas including taking up management positions in prominent Offshore Repair Contractors and Offshore Drilling Contractors where it took him to many parts of West Africa, Europe, Americas, Asia and Australia.
While Ratnam specializes in brokering of S&Ps and Charters of Offshore vessels, ASA NORTON SHAW GLOBAL PTE LTD has also placed various types project vessels such as offshore and Inshore Ballastable Barges, ASD Tugs, Utility Supply Vessels(Dive Vessel) as well as supporting vessels such as Mooring boats, Anti-Pollution Boats and Pilot Station vessels for various ports as tailored solutions for owners/operators on short and long term charters.
